Propagation Activities

Munshi Sahib devoted his entire life to the propagation of Islam. His writings aimed to permanently instill the spirit of Islam in people's minds and promote both individual and collective reformation. He authored five books emphasizing the superiority and greatness of Islam and provided a critical analysis of Zionism.

At a crucial time, Munshi Sahib actively raised his voice against those who denied the authenticity of Ahadith, warning the nation about their destructive intentions.

Starting in 1965, he initiated the distribution of Islamic literature to those unable to access mosques or read extensive books. This tradition continues today, with thousands of non-political, non-controversial pamphlets printed and distributed monthly in schools, colleges, government departments, prisons, and to the general public.

Munshi Sahib also introduced the concept of Eid Cards carrying Islamic messages, replacing traditional greeting cards. This initiative aimed to transform a common practice into a positive and rewarding one.

Mr. Mukthar Masood CSP (Tamgha-e-Quaid-e-Azam):

"The Hadith Qudsi written on Eid Card had tremendous effects on me and my wife we swayed on each and every word. By it’s selection and publicity you have done really a great service. May God give you rewards for it."

Syed Ibn-e-Hasan Barny, General Manager UBL Lahore:

"You have sent me best Eid Card of this Eid-ul-Mubarak. Thanks a lot. The selection of this Hadith suiting to occasion is really praiseworthy. The style of presentation is equally commendable. Here among the intelligentia your Eid Card has been very much liked who have declared it a thought provoking idea."

Syed Bashir Ahmed Sahib, Administrative Officer, Colony Textile Mills Ltd. Multan:

"I have just received your extremely pure effective full of sincerity Eid greetings card. I read it once and then went though it several times. Every time I felt a different taste. I have been sending and receiving many Eid Cards in my life, but the impression I got from this greeting card is quite unique. Accepting my mistake instead of sending you a formal Eid Card I am presenting you Eid greetings full of gratitude from a heart filled with love and respects"

Chaudhry Abdul Rehman Sahib, Principal, Muslim High School Multan:

"The exhilarating loving and heart rendering style you have chosen to present gift of greetings, only God almighty can give you reward for this. Your gesture for sinner like me is a unique gift. Reading your words is easy as well as a sort of worship and prayer as if enjoying blessings of God"

Hazrat Moulana Abdul Majid Daryaabadi in the international journal Sidq-e-Jadeed (March 1962):

"As always this year also Eid Cards were received by me and reluctantly had to tolerate this painful and expensive innovation in religion. Other cards did not surprise me except one where a name astonished me. This was the name of Munshi Abdul Rehman Khan of Multan. Munshi Sahib is not only a sincere well wisher of Sidq-e-Jadeed and its editor but a special follower of Hazrat Thanvi. As regard Eid Card the moment I read the wordings on the card unpleasantness changed into pleasantness. In this card after brief and valuable foreward Hadith Qudsi is written” (This is kind of Hadith in which sayings of Allah is mentioned).

Moulana adds, words like “True and real pearls shining attractive and beautiful along with printing which even impresses modern minds, all these qualities have made this gift really valuable. If we have to persist on this unduly expensive innovation then it is better to follow this type and example.

“If there is some sense and meaning of good innovation in religion it is here where it can be condoned. It contains words which are truly wise and pious advises which are far reaching and all this has been presented in a very sweet and convincing manner.”
