Munshi Sahib's writings have garnered widespread acclaim from renowned scholars, who have praised his profound insights and literary excellence.
Moulana Abdul Majid Darya Abadi, a distinguished commentator and interpreter of the Quran, praised Munshi Sahib's journals "Maut-o-Hayat" (Life & Death) and "Sabr-o-Sabat" (Tolerance and Endurance). He remarked,

"Munshi Sahib may not be a philosopher, orator, insighter and writer his journals contain all the ingredients which make a person full of such qualities. In this small book there is not a single sentence to be left unread. There are rarely very few such books which are readable from the first to the last words"
Moulana Qari Mohammad Tayyab Mohtamim Dar-ul_Ulum Deoband India acknowledged Abdul Rehman Khan's efforts, saying,
"Abdul Rehman Khan not only deserves to be congratulated but also to be acknowledged for the fact that he gathered a worthwhile collection of knowledge and thoughts which can be practically beneficial for every one."

​Mufti Azam Pakistan Moulana Mufti Mohammad Shafi Deobandi commented,
"Writing achievements of Munshi Sahib seem higher than his courage. In fact it was basically task of Ulemas which he had accomplished. Ulemas should be grateful to him for this"
Moulana Mahir-ul-Qadri, Editor of Faran Karachi and a leader of Jamaat-e-Islami, wrote,
"Munshi Abdul Rehman Khan has tremendous spirit and enthusiasm for the reformation and training of the nation and this style is reflected in each of his writings. He compiles a book with great sincerity by including all points which he considers useful and necessary. He always takes care of human psychology and tries to avoid excess and deficiency successfully."
Hameed Nizami, Editor of Nawa-e-Waqt Lahore, lauded Munshi Sahib as a seasoned writer and a true Muslim.
"Munshi Abdul Rehman Khan is such a seasoned writer as well as a true muslim who has acquired spiritual qualities from those who are nearer to God almighty.
It has been his favorite hobby to follow the virtuous people and he has naturally inclined to remain in the company of “Darveshes” as much as possible. In all his writings he has kept the mission of propagation of Islam on top and advocated that muslim must fly along with muslim (Musalman ra Muslman baz Kardand). This has been the centre point of his thoughts."

Moulana Shah Moeenuddin Ahmed Nadvi, Editor of Maarif Aazam Garh India, introduced Munshi Sahib in his esteemed magazine with these words:
"Munshi Abdul Rehman was a very learned writer who from the beginning had instincts to find truth and who remained active and practical. He chose different paths at different times and for this purpose he remained associated with different political parties acquiring complete religious knowledge. He wandered around the world of cognizance and revelation. To make both ends meet he remained attached to the court which is a big experiment centre itself."
